YouTube is a goldmine, and if you’re not taking advantage of the gold rush, you’re missing a whole trick!
In 2018, I met a really cool guy outside a coffee shop in East London. He sat in his yellow Mercedes Benz, looking pretty damn smug! Teenage boys crowded around his car, asking for selfies and taking pictures to post on social media.
The main question:
“What do you do for a living?"
His response:
“I create content”
Woah!
This guy spent most of his time sipping coffee and listening to rap music. Very laid-back, too cool for school.
In fact, most people thought he was a drug dealer, but I found out that this guy spends most of his time watching YouTube videos.
One day, I plucked up the courage to ask him exactly how he makes so much cash.
He willingly gave me all the information:
“I watch YouTube videos and create commentary articles; that’s it!”
So….
“How do you make the money?"
“I write content for platforms such as Hubpages, and I own five blogs. I monetize my content with ads and affiliate marketing.”
This guy makes $100,000 a month with this strategy! Impressive!
Jumping on the bandwagon:
I spent the next 30 days digging into this strategy. I would spend three hours a day watching YouTube videos, writing notes, and copying and pasting links.
Then, I’d create a whole bunch of titles based on these YouTube videos and get to work.
In the first 30 days, I published 25 articles on Hubpages and 20 articles on my new blog.
I made $1000 on Hubpages and zero dollars from the blog. I spent the next 30 days adding more content to the Hubpages account and optimizing the content on my blog.
