Why are stay at home moms turning to digital businesses?

Millennial Women are Opting for the Stay at Home Mom Life

Millennial women are an empowered generation however, more and more millennials women are opting for the stay at home mom life, and because this is a more traditional role, these women often feel the need to find a creative outlet or something they can do to earn some money for themselves.

Flexibility

Flexibility is one of the main reasons why stay at home moms are turning to digital businesses. Remember the days where stay home moms distributed Avon catalogues or Amway products? There has been a shift and the Internet is making it much easier to work from home and raise kids at the same time.

More Time to Do the Things They Love

Running a thriving digital business allows you to spend more time doing the things that you love. For example, I’m an art lover and working from home gives me the extra time to go to art galleries and spend time with friends. I often take my laptop and my son along with me, we enjoy some art, have nice lunch and then get some work done from a local coffee shop. It’s a nice life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Unlimited Earnings

Many digital businesses give you the opportunity to earn unlimited money. Although most stay at home moms just want a little extra money, no one is really going to say no to a six-figure income, especially if you can work from home or from wherever you feel like working from.

Great for introverts

Sometimes being a stay at home mom can be a lonely experience especially if you spend a lot of time indoors and with the kids. Not all stay at home moms are extroverts, I am certainly not an extrovert and I prefer to spend time alone. Digital businesses are perfect for mothers that spend less time connecting with people in real life. It gives you the opportunity to connect with people from all around the world without having to meet face to face.
